The founder, Mr. Hikotaro Jin, founds Jin Rope Store in Aomori city.
1945 Store premise, warehouse and residence are burnt down by major air raid.
1956 Jin Rope Store changes its name to Jin Fishing Net Store and Mr. Isao Jin joins its management.
1964
Jin Fishing Net store builds a new office premise in Chuo, Aomori City.
Jin Fishing Net Store celebrates its 25th year in business.
1966 Its cutting-edge automatic squid fishing machine is released which catches on across Aomori prefecture.
1969 Jin Fishing Net Store incorporates its business and changes its name to Jin Fishing Net Co., Ltd.(Capital JPY10,000,000.00)
Mr. Hikotaro Jin is appointed Representative Director and Mr. Isao Jin is appointed Senior Managing Director
1970 The scallop farming in Mutsu Bay begins in full swing and Jin Fishing Net starts producing scallop farming products.
1972 Mr. Isao Jin is appointed Representative Director due to the death of Mr. Hikotaro Jin
1974
Jin Fishing Co., Ltd. moves its head office to the current place, Tonyamachi in Aomori city and builds a new office premise.
1975 A great number of scallops die from overcrowded farming in Mutsu Bay.
1984 Jin Fishing Net adopts a new PVC coating wire production equipment.
Jin Fishing Net adopts a new automatic square frame processing machine for scallop nets(Self-developed robot)
1986 Jin Fishing Net Kobata Factory
Jin Fishing Net Co., Ltd. builds its first factory in suburb of Aomori city
1989

Jin fishing Net celebrates its 50th year in business and held a commemoration ceremony.
The capital is increased to JPY30,000,000.00

1991 Jin Fishing Net builds the second factory, next to its first factory.
1994 Jin Fishing Net Co., Ltd. starts importing scallop farming products from an subcontract factory in China.
1999 Jin fishing Net celebrated its 60th year in business.
The online trasmission system is opened between Jin fishing Net and Aomori Fisheries Cooperatives
2005
Jin Fishing Net Co., Ltd. builds its own factory in south of Vietnam and carries on full scale operation in 2006.
2006 Jin Fishing Net starts importing products from its factory in Vietnam.
2009 Jin fishing Net celebrates its 70th year in business
2010 A great number of scallops in Mutsu Bay die from the abnormally high seawater temperature in summer
2011 Jin Fishing Net delivers relief goods to the areas devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake
2012 Jin Fishing Net is awarded “the Aomori Institute of Invention and Innovation President Prize”, due to it’s patent acquisition results.
2014 Jin fishing Net celebrates its 75th year in business.
Scallop price hikes due to increasing demand from overseas
2016 The annual amount of scallop catches in Mutsu Bay reaches the highest ever JPY26,300,000,000.00
2017 The annual amount of scallop catches in Mutsu Bay exceeds 20,000,000,000 yen (about USD 182,000,000.00, USD=110yen) for two consecutive years.
Mr. Keita Jin is appointed Representative Director

2018 Mr. Mitsugu Okubo is appointed as Corporate Auditor
2019 We celebrates the 80th anniversary of the company’s foundation and the 50th anniversary of the company’s incorporation.
Commemorative projects and ceremonies including a commemorative tree-planting for Mutsu Bay’s environment and an anniversary party for employees and their families are held.

2020 The outbreak of Corona viruse in Vietnam causes severe immigration restrictions throughout the year. Airline companies have to cancell nearly all the flights for a long period, making travels extremely difficult.
2021 The Corona viruse vaccination rate still increases slowly and an immigration restriction continues in Vietnam. In addition, the Vietnamese government issues a strict lockdown in the country which severely affects the economic activities.
2022 The foreign exchange rate, which is around 115 yen to the dollar at the beginning of the year, depreciates sharply down to 150 yen in October, due to the widening interest rate gap between the US and Japan. In addition, the war in Ukraine, begins in February, has a serious impact on oil price and marine transports. This imposes the companies to raise the imported goods prices for several times in one year.
2023 The number of juvenile scallop harvest in early spring is low in all areas of Mutsu Bay, and the record high hot weather in summer causes an unusual high mortality rate of juvenile, semi-adult and adult scallop. In particular, the number of juvenile scallop in Aomori City area (Aburakawa, Okunai, etc.) is completely wiped out, causing a great concern about scallop sales among the local scallop farmers in the following year and beyond. Accordingly, the local and national governments set up compensation and subsidy schemes to support the scallop farmers.
Mr. Taisei Jin, the eldest son of Mr. Keita Jin is appointed as a director and Mr. Isao Jin becomes an executive adviser.
